Autotecnica 409 Steel Resonator Delete X-Pipe for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 GT Mustangs.
Changing the exhaust is typically one of the first mods to be done on the 2015-2018 GT Mustang to bring out a more pronounced exhaust tone. With the stock resonator on the Mustang, the exhaust tone is greatly muted, and performance is impacted. This Autotecnica 409 Steel Resonator Delete X-Pipe will open up your Mustangs exhaust flow and let that V8 motor Roar.
Features and Benefits:
– Reduces Back Pressure and Increases Exhaust Flow
– Increase Horsepower and Torque
– More Aggressive Exhaust Tone
– Stainless Steel Construction with Mandrel Bent Tubing
– Lighter than Stock Resonator
– Easy Installation
– Includes All Necessary Hardware
Autotecnica constructed this x-pipe from high-grade 409 steel for long lasting durability and resistance to corrosion. Mandrel bending of the pipes provides smooth bends for maximum exhaust flow while reducing back pressure. The more open design of this x-pipe brings out a throatier, race-inspired exhaust tone. With included hardware for an easy installation, this resonator delete x-pipe from Autotecnica is an easy and quick way to improve your Mustangs performance and sound!
Please Note:
*Does NOT require any welding.
*Does NOT require tuning.
*Extra work is required to fit to mustang convertible due to extra bracing on the underside of the car.

Hi just had this fitted to a 2016 convertible GT. Very happy with sound but, the fittings is considerably different than explained, on a convertible.
I found that the resonator and mufflers are all connected (not with clamps). It is still a DIY but you cannot remove the resonator to cut without removing full system from resonator back. Also, there is extra bracing in the car that must be removed first. Luckily had a ramp to work on.
