THE COVER WIDTH IS THE MEASUREMENT OF THE ROOF LEFT TO RIGHT. CAR MANUFACTURERS MEASURE THE WIDTH

OF THE VEHICLES SIDE TO SIDE AT THE GUARD. THE COVERS USUALLY FLARE OUT  WHEN FITTED TO A VEHICLE TO COVER THE GUARDS.
